Key Responsibilities-Country
Monitor and supervise the overall timely and cost-effective delivery of country office programmes according to farsights’s expectations.
Evaluate performance to measure efficiency and alignment of the country Office with the organizational strategies and compliance with Far sight's standards of accuracy, transparency and accountability .
Monitor implementation, oversee progress toward annual objectives and take decisions to ensure the delivery of results as planned.
Establish and execute the programme implementation plans in collaboration with the team and partners, including setting objectives, performance measurements, standards and results expected to ensure timely and client oriented services
Mentor and assist Project staff in planning, execution and delivery of allocated projects, ensuring incorporation of best practice project management processes.
Facilitate timely and accurate project tracking, analysis of outputs, and reporting.
Manage and oversee the preparation of programme documents (including business cases/strategies, policy briefs, programme reports and risk assessments)
Build and strengthen strategic partnerships through active networking, advocacy and effective communication of Far sight's competencies in project service delivery and management.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTSEducation:**
A Master’s degree in preferably in project management, public administration, social science or other relevant related field is required.
A minimum of 10 years of experience that combines strategic and managerial leadership in social development, business development, executive management and/or programme management planning and operations in a large international and/or corporate organization.
Experience in hardship or post conflict environments like Somalia is desirable.
Should be fluent in both English and Somali at a proficiency level.
