Purpose:

The purpose of this position is to support the Network Leadership Team to
· effectively administer the global network and its activities
· communicate effectively within and about the network, its initiatives and results
**
Responsibilities will include:**
- Maintain and update an overview and contact details of Plan International’s technical experts related to the Area of Global Distinctiveness (Inclusive Quality Education)
- Establish and maintain membership lists for network leadership team (Core Group), sub-groups of the network and overviews of the networks representation or memberships in external networks, coalitions/ initiatives.
- Manage, regularly update and monitor the use of an Intranet site for the Area of Global Distinctiveness, related sub-groups and their members.
- Curate Intranet site related content.
- Help manage the supply and demand for temporary technical support or technical inquiries within the network.
- Support the network’s interactions using diverse online technologies and/or plan and organize occasional meetings
- Support the network leadership team with the production of communications and guidance related to the Area of Global Distinctiveness (IQE) in English, French and Spanish
- Help to monitor network action plans and budgets
- Support regular participatory evaluation exercises of the network and its members and users; and the production of annual performance reports
- Share relevant information with network members
- Orient new technical staff to the network membership and ways of working
- Other tasks as deemed necessary for the effective performance and development of the network
Ensures that Plan International’s Global Policies for Gender Equality & Inclusion and Child Protection are fully embedded in accordance with the their Implementation guidelines and standards as applicable to their area of responsibility. This includes, but is not limited to, ensuring staff and associates are aware of and understand their responsibilities under the policies and Code of Conduct (CoC), its relevance to their area of work and that concerns are reported and managed in accordance with the appropriate procedures.
Working Relationships:
· The Global Technical Lead and other members of the leadership team of the Area of Global Distinctiveness
· Global Network Administrators for other thematic areas for sharing of good practices and the development of common tools useful for all networks
· Global Communication Team for providing and promoting content and stories for internal and external communication on Plan International’s work
· HROD and Plan Academy staff to support the planning and implementation of capacity development initiatives of network members
Knowledge, skills and behaviours:
Knowledge:
· Knowledge and experience in administering remote networks
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office package
· Good skills in managing Sharepoint
· Fluency in English and good working skills in French.
· Good understanding of rights based development and gender.
