Here’s where you come in:

As Health & Nutrition Technical Specialist you will provide Technical oversight, guidance and resources mobilization needed to ensure World Vision (WV) Health and Nutrition projects in Somaliland meet or exceed Child wellbeing outcomes. You will be working closely with the Programme Development Unit and Health and Nutrition advisor, the Technical specialist will contribute to the design of projects that are aligned to Somaliland National Strategy and relevant to community needs while responding to both strategic and emergency requirements.

Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Public health, Nutrition or Nursing.
  • 4 to 6 years in Health and Nutrition programming 2 of which must be in management level.
  • Knowledge of humanitarian industry including SPHERE standards, Good Enough Guide, NGO code of conduct and humanitarian charter.
  • Field-based with frequent travel to sub-office locations.
